Description | Eight men stood on quayside next to empty basin: lock gates can be seen between the quay they are stood on and the adjoining one, which has a crane at its end. Another structure behind, probably outer harbour wall (if this is Banff, this would be the North Pier). Identified as Banff because of other images in box, box label, and newspaper reports about deepening works at Banff Harbour in 1918. Same location as AHB/11/1/9/20 and 23 and AHB/11/1/10/28 and 30. |
