Contains several images of Fisheries Cruiser "Freya", built by Hall Russell in 1904 for the Fishery Board of Scotland. Requisitioned by the Navy between 1914-1919.
Photographs estimated to date from c. 1909 by Catherine Nicol's daughter, Iris: slightly later date likely based on Robert Gordon Nicol's known visits to Orkney and Catherine's age.
