| Description | Lists everyone who paid the Cess, "Firing" and watch money. Divided by Presbytery, then by parish, then by landowner, with a total for the parish at the end of each section. For each payer there is a note of the total amount owed each month, the total amount paid each month, and the total collected each month. Larger landowners do sometimes appear in more than one parish, and it is possible to deduce who owned the most land in each parish from the amount paid.
Also contains (loose) list of defuncts in Crimond, 1668-1872, and recipe for ink at end of volume.
