Description | Minutes of meetings of the Bailie Court. Consists of brief notes of proceedings in cases. Also contains articles and minutes of roup of the Town's common good (Town's grass, small customs, shore and harbour dues, street dung, park at Clayholes, the houses and green at Painted Essie, the houses at High Shore, Newlands parks and tenements near the Cross). At the end of the volume there is a list of stamped memoranda presented to the Bailie Court between 1805 and 1810. The endpapers were used as a borrowing register between 1804 and 1817.
