| Description | Volume includes the minutes of the Ballater Drainage & Water Supply District Sub-Committee of the Deeside District Committee (Kincardine & Deeside) acting as local authority. The minutes cover dates from 11th October 1890 to 4th May 1891. The Deeside District Committee replaced the Parochial Board of Tullich, Glenmuick and Glengairn as local authority on 15th May 1890.
On 21st January 1891 a Police Burgh was formed at Ballater which included both the Special Drainage District and the 1873 Ballater Special Water Supply District, as well as a small adjoining area not included within either district. The Police Commissioners of the Burgh of Ballater replaced the Deeside District Committee as local authority on 20th May 1891.
