| Administrative History | The Public Assistance Area 1 covered the parishes of Tyrie, Aberdour, and Pitsligo and the burgh of Rosehearty. It was overseen by the Public Assistance Area Committee 1. Its office was at New Pitsligo.
In 1946 Area 1 was joined with areas 2 and 3 to become a new Area 1, the Fraserburgh Area. Minutes for this area are included in AC/3/35/2. |
