| Administrative History | Public Assistance Area 3 (Lonmay) covered the parishes of Fraserburgh (Landward), Rathen and Lonmay. It was administered jointly with Area 4 (Fraserburgh) with one shared Public Assistance Officer. This area was overseen by the Public Assistance Area Committee 3. Its office was at Fraserburgh.
In 1946 Area 1 was joined with areas 2 and 3 to become a new Area 1, the Fraserburgh Area. Minutes for this area are included in AC/3/35/2. |
