| Administrative History | A Special Water Supply District was formed at Longside in 1931, and was quickly followed by Lighting and Scavenging Districts in 1936, and by Longside Special Drainage District in 1938.
The Scavenging District was adopted into the county system in 1949, and the Lighting and Drainage Districts in 1968.
Around 1967, the Special District Subcommittees of Longside and Mintlaw combined to deal with all four functions in both places. |
