Administrative History | Maud Special Lighting District was in place by 1913, when they borrowed £80 with County Council approval to set up lamp standards.
There was an existing Special Water Supply District, for Maud Special Scavenging District was based on it when it was set up in 1934.
A Special Drainage District was rejected by the County Council in the same year, but approved in 1935.
The Scavenging District was adopted into the county system in 1949, and the Drainage and Lighting Districts in 1968. |
