Administrative History | The formation of Cairnbulg (and later Inverallochy) Special Water Supply District was suggested by reports by the County Medical Officer and County Sanitary Inspector in 1894, and put to the District Committee. Water and drainage works were completed in 1898, and extended in 1933.
Cairnbulg and Inverallochy Special Scavenging District was set up in 1896, and was adopted into the county system in 1949.
Cairnbulg and Inverallochy Special Lighting District was formed in 1939, based on the boundaries of the Special Drainage and Water Supply Districts already in existence.
Cairnbulg Special Drainage District was adopted into the county system in 1968 along with Cairnbulg and Inverallochy Special Lighting District. |
