| Administrative History | Though drainage and water supply districts for Oyne were discussed in 1940, it was decided at that stage that they would be formed at the end of the Second World War.
Special Water Supply, Drainage, and Scavenging Districts were all considered and deferred again in 1947, but Oyne & Kirkton of Oyne Special Scavenging District was finally formed in 1950.
The Lighting District was adopted into the county system in 1968. |
