| Administrative History | Glenmuick Special Drainage and Water District was formed in 1872 as a Local Authority for Glenmuick, Tullich, and Glengairn, in terms of section 76 of the Public Health (Scotland) Act, 1867.
In 1891 it met as the Police Commissioners of the Burgh of Ballater, and in 1892 as the Town Council of the Burgh of Ballater.
