Administrative History | A Special Water Supply District for Hatton of Fintray was requisitioned by the local ratepayers in 1944, but was deferred by the County Council. It was again proposed, along with a Special Drainage District, in 1947, and again deferred, though some work seems to have been begun on a water supply.
Two years later Special Districts for water supply, drainage, lighting and scavenging were all considered, deferred, and considered again, and later that year a Special Scavenging District was formed and immediately adopted into the county scheme.
At the same time a Special Lighting District was formed. It was adopted into the county scheme in 1968, along with drainage functions. |
