The County was divided into six areas for the purposes of School Management Committees in 1919: 1. Banff: Parishes of Alvah, Banff, Boyndie and Gamrie. (No records held) 2. Cullen: Parishes of Cullen, Deskford, Fordyce and Ordiquhill (the latter was transferred to Area 4 in 1930). 3. Buckie: Parish of Rathven. (No records held) 4. Aberchirder: Parishes of Forglen, Inverkeithny and Marnoch (plus Ordiquhill from 1930). (No records held) 5. Keith: Parishes of Boharm, Botriphnie, Grange, Keith and Rothiemay. 6. Dufftown: Parishes of Aberlour, Cabrach, Inveravon, Kirkmichael and Mortlach. |
