| Administrative History | Fordyce Special Scavenging District was formed in 1896, and the Special Water Supply District in 1899. The water district borrowed £200 for a new waterworks system in 1903. A drainage function was added later, and a Special Lighting District was in place by the 1940s. The Special Drainage, Lighting, and Scavenging Districts were all extended 1955. |
