Administrative History | Under the Education (Scotland) Act 1918 seven School Management Committees were established in Kincardineshire: 1. Upper Deeside (parishes of Banchory Ternan, Durris, Strachan) 2. Lower Deeside (parishes of Maryculter, Banchory-Devenick, Nigg) 3. Stonehaven (parishes of Fetteresso and Dunnottar) 4. Arbuthnott (parishes of Arbuthnott, Glenbervie and Kinneff and Catterline) 5. Fordoun (parishes of Fordoun and Fettercairn) 6. Laurencekirk (parishes of Laurencekirk, Marykirk and Garvock) 7. St Cyrus (parishes of Bervie, Benholm and St Cyrus)
