| Administrative History | Muchalls Special Drainage District was set up in 1946 with a grant under the Rural Water Supplies and Sewerage Act, 1944. A Special Scavenging District was proposed in 1947 by the Local Committee for Public Health, in connexion with a new county refuse scheme. It was formed, but was dissolved in 1961 as the area was to be covered by a larger new County refuse scheme. A Special Lighting District was proposed and approved in 1971. |
