The Council approved the Provost's report on the sums of money borrowed for public purposes, particularly for formation of the new streets, and directed the Treasurer to grant bonds to the following, for payment on 20 June 1803 at five per cent interest:

The Council approved the Provost's report on the sums of money borrowed for the Shore Work charge, and directed the Shoremaster to grant bonds to the following, for payment on 20 June 1802 at five per cent interest:

The Council empowered the Treasurer to grant bonds for £1,000 to the Managers of the Poor's Hospital and to the Managers of the United Coal Fund, for payment on 20 June 1803, with legal interest. (88r)
The Council granted the petition from Alexander Fraser and George Mole, merchants in Aberdeen, requesting permission to raise their houses on the west side of Marischal Street to three floors above the street level, on the conditions that the houses were not more than thirty feet high, and that the alterations to the two houses should be done simultaneously and within three years.
