The Council elected the following thirteen Burgesses to be members of the new Council for the year 1802 to 1803: Baillie William Shepherd, Provost William Young, Provost George More, Baillie William Ritchie, Baillie Robert Garden, Alexander Brebner, James Mackie, John Donald junior, Gavin Hadden, Robert Tower, George Thomson, Alexander Fraser and George Hogarth junior, all merchants in Aberdeen. The Council elected the following four members of the old Council to be members of the new Council: Provost James Hadden, Baillie Charles Farquharson, Baillie Alexander Galen and Provost Thomas Leys. (93r)

The Council elected Deacon William Cowie, saddler, and Deacon James Farquhar, weaver, to be Trades councillors. (93r)

The Council (and John Allan, John Pittendreigh and Alexander Duffus, Burgesses of Guild, as Assistants) elected the following office bearers for the year 1802 to 1803:
Provost James Hadden - Provost
William Shepherd - Eldest Baillie
Charles Farquharson - Second Baillie
Robert Garden - Third Baillie
Alexander Galen - Youngest Baillie
Alexander Brebner - Dean of Guild
Alexander Fraser - Treasurer
James Mackie - Shoremaster
John Donald - Master of Kirk and Bridge Works
Robert Tower - Master of Mortifications
George Hogarth junior - Master of Guild Brethren's Hospital

The Council elected Provost James Hadden, Baillie Charles Farquharson and Baillie Robert Garden to be Keepers of the Keys of the Town's Charter Chest for the year 1802 to 1803. (93v)

The Council elected for the year 1802 to 1803 the Provost, the four Baillies, the Dean of Guild, Provost More, Provost Young, Provost Leys and Baillie Ritchie as Commissioners of Infeftments; and the two Trades councillors as Auditors of the Town's Accounts. (93v)
