The Council approved the report of the committee appointed to consider the proposal from Mr Alexander Crombie, advocate, to purchase the lease of that part of the Lands and Barony of Muchals belonging to the Treasurer. The committee recommended the sale of the lease by public roup, in lots conforming to a plan they had commissioned from John Innes, land surveyor. The Council resolved to hold a public roup of the lease on 19 November 1803, and remitted to the same committee to draw up a description of the lots to be sold. (134r - 134v)

The Council resolved to sell the following feu duties: feu duties of several lots of ground in the Shorelands and Marischal Street and sundry smaller feu duties; feu duties of subjects in Schoolhill, belonging to Gordon's Hospital and Provost More; feu duties of subjects in Drum's Lane pertaining to Baillie Ritchie and others; feu duty of the Old Hospital House and garden; and the feu duties of all the lots of the Lands of Gilcomston. The Council remitted to the magistrates to agree terms with any heritors or feuars who wished to purchase their feu duties. (134v - 135r)
