The Council elected the following thirteen Burgesses to be members of the new Council for the year 1804 to 1805: Provost William Young, Provost George More, Baillie Charles Farquharson, Baillie Alexander Galen, Alexander Brebner, Gavin Hadden, George Thomson, Alexander Fraser, John Donald junior, Robert Tower, George Hogarth junior, Alexander Gibbon junior and Alexander Booth junior, all merchants in Aberdeen. The Council elected the following four members of the old Council to be members of the new Council: Provost Thomas Leys, Baillie Thomas McCombie, Baillie George Tower and Provost James Hadden. (166v - 167r)
The Council elected Deacon William Roger, glazier, and Deacon William Hendry, weaver, to be Trades councillors. (167r)
The Council (and Robert Balmanno, Patrick Barron, John Allan, William Paterson, John Pittendrigh, Alexander Duffus, George Christie, John Allan, meal seller, Robert Chalmers and Daniel Mowat, Burgesses of Guild, as Assistants) elected the following office bearers for the year 1804 to 1805:
