Payments to the poor from the Hospital charge: Isobel Wallace, widow of Middleton Gordon, merchant - to be settled on a pension of £4 Mary Duncan, widow of James Silver, slater - to be settled on a pension of £3 Jean Donald, daughter of Joseph Donald, maltman, Burgess - to be settled on a pension of £3 Isobel Pirie, daughter of Alexander Pirie, merchant, Burgess - to be settled on a pension of £5 John Lunan, late merchant - an additional 20 shillings to his pension of £5 Ann Davidson, daughter of the deceased Alexander Davidson, Burgess - an additional 20 shillings to her pension Robert Chalmers, bookbinder - an additional 40 shillings to his pension Payments to the poor from the Additional Fund: Isobel Copland, widow of the deceased Robert Smith, merchant, and her daughter - an additional £2 to their pension Payments to the poor from John Nicoll's mortification: Helen Mavor, widow of John Allan, sailor, and niece of Helen Wilson, wife of John Nicoll, merchant - to be settled on the mortification for 50 shillings Catherine Kerr, niece of John Nicoll, merchant - to be settled on the mortification for 50 shillings Children on Dr Guild's mortification: Mrs Maxwell, widow of Mr Andrew Dun, Rector of the Grammar School, to receive another orphan bursary of £4 The Council directed all other pensions from the Town's funds, as listed in the office bearer's books at Michaelmas 1804, to be continued unaltered, except for the pensions of Margaret and Ann Allan, daughters of Colin Allan. The Council resolved to discontinue the pensions paid to Margaret Allan, widow of John Meders, and to Ann Allan, widow of George Robertson, both late merchants and Burgesses of Guild, as they had succeeded to shares in the Lands of Pitmuckston.
