The Council approved the sale at a public roup on 13 April 1805 of a three-year lease of the Shore and Harbour Dues and Ballast Lighters for £2,700 annual rent, to Charles Walker, merchant in Aberdeen, on behalf of Robert Bruce, shipmaster in Aberdeen. The Council authorised the Shoremaster to grant a tack to Robert Bruce and his cautioners: Messrs Thomas Bannerman and James Gibbon, merchants in Aberdeen. (190v)

The Council approved the sale of a one year tack of the Pack House and Weigh House Dues to John Rae, merchant in Aberdeen, for £140 rent. (The tack had been offered to Robert Bruce, shipmaster in Aberdeen, as purchaser of the Shore Dues, but he had refused.) (190v - 191r)

The Council prohibited all porters and others from rolling empty casks on the streets, and prohibited carters from driving more than one cart, unless the carts are fixed together, with a penalty of 5 shillings to be paid by any offender. The Council ordered the Town Sergeants and Constables to apprehend any offenders against the Act. (191r - 191v)

The Council accepted the resignation by Mr James Shand of his post as Preacher in the College Church, as he had accepted a presentation to the church and Parish of Mary Kirk. The Council remitted to a committee of the magistrates, the Dean of Guild and the Treasurer, or any three of them, consideration of how best to fill the vacant post. (191v - 192r)

The Council fixed 28 May 1805 to perambulate the Town's Inner Marches, and to visit the Bridge of Dee and the Bridge of Don. (192r)

The Council ordained all persons who brought articles specified in the Table of Weigh House Dues (meat, tallow, butter, cheese and others) into Aberdeen for sale, to have the articles weighed by the Keeper of the Town's Weights at the Public Weigh House, for payment to him of the usual weighing dues, in accordance with previous Acts of Council, particularly those of 19 June 1777 and 12 April 1799. The Council prohibited inhabitants from weighing any of the specified articles in private houses or shops, with a penalty of 5 shillings to be paid by the offender. (192r - 193r)
