The Council elected the following four members of the old Council to serve on the new Council: Provost James Young, Baillie Robert Garden, Baillie Charles Walker and James Hadden Esq. (235r)
The Council elected Deacon Arthur Cromar, cutler, and Deacon James Collie, weaver, to be Trades councillors. (235r)
