The Council elected the following four members of the old Council to serve on the new Council: Alexander Brebner, Provost George More, Baillie Thomas McCombie and Baillie George Tower. (36v)

The Council elected Provost More, Baillie McCombie and Baillie Tower to be Keepers of the Keys of the Town's Charter Chest for the year 1807 to 1808. (37r)
The Council elected for the year 1807 to 1808 the Provost, the four Baillies, Provost Brebner, the Dean of Guild, Baillie Lumsden, Alexander More and George Thomson, to be Commissioners of Infeftments; and the same gentlemen with the two Trades councillors as Auditors of the Town's Accounts.
