The Council agreed a donation of £75 to the Managers of the Poor's Hospital and elected the following directors for the year ending Candlemas 1812; the Provost, magistrates and other members of the Town Council; Baillies Shepherd and Garden; Bishop Skinner; the Rev Mr Bryce, the Rev Mr Doig and the Rev Mr Cordiner; Sir Alexander Bannerman; Doctors Livingston, Dyce, Moir and Skene; Mr Niven of Thorntown, Mr Martin of Nellfield; Dr Dauney; Messrs Thomas Bannerman, Charles Walker and William Smith, all merchants; Mr Carnegie, Town Clerk and Convener John Webster, weaver. The Council admitted the following to vacant bursaries at Marischal College upon the Faculty's recommendations; James Beattie, son of the late Professor James Beattie, and William Kidd, son of Professor Kidd, each to one of Mr James Cargill's bursaries of £8 for two years, the former in place of James Martin who had left the College, the latter in place of the deceased Patrick Anton; William Dawson, a student in the semi-class, to one of Katharine Rolland's bursaries of £8 for two years in place of George Davidson who had left the College; Alexander Low, a student in the semi-class, to one of Dr Duncan Liddel's bursaries of £5 for one year in place of James Dounie who had left the College; William Christie in the Greek class, to one of James Cargill's bursaries of £8 for one year in place of Robert Smith who had left the College. William Milne, painter and glazier in Aberdeen, presented to the Council his resignation from the office of Precentor of the Psalm in St Nicholas West Church due to ill-health. The magistrates were charged with the appointment of a suitable replacement. (191r)

The Council granted the petitions of John Brands, residing in Aberdeen, and Alexander Collie, residing at Rubislaw, to be admitted as coal metters at the Shore in place of the deceased James Singer and [no name given] upon their finding caution to the satisfaction of the magistrates. (191r - 191v)

The Council authorised the Shoremaster to grant bond to Mrs Ann White, widow, residing in Aberdeen, on 20 December 1811 for £1200, borrowed in terms of the various Harbour Improvement Acts, interest payable from that date at half yearly intervals. (191v)
