| Description | Council meeting, 4 November 1813 [Sederunt given] The Council approved of the petition from the magistrates, Council and landholders of the County of Aberdeen to the House of Commons, requesting to submit a bill to build a new Court House for the Town and County, and to appropriate part of the Bridewell for a jail. The Council empowered the Provost to subscribe to the petition on their behalf and to transmit it to Mr Gordon, the solicitor. (14r - 14v)
