The Council elected Baillie Alexander Galen to be their Commissioner to the Convention of Royal Burghs to be held in Edinburgh on 11 July 1820, and elected Baillie John Young to be his Assessor. (229r)
The Council deferred consideration of a resolution by the Trustees for the creditors of the Treasury recommending that Mr Hardie furnish the Town Clerk with a list of all the debts owed by the Treasurer, and requesting the Council to engross the list in the Council Register, as a record of the debts.
