The Council approved the clauses to be inserted into a new Turnpike Act relating to the construction of a new bridge over the River Don, which had been framed by the magistrates and the County committee appointed to obtain a new Turnpike Act. The Council requested the Provost to ensure that the clauses were inserted into the bill. (249v - 250r)

The Council approved proposals to convert the room under the Council chamber, which had been used as a taxation office, into a shop, in order to benefit from the considerable yearly rent; the Council also approved proposals to alter the Clerks' chamber and the old Court House for the use of the magistrates and clerks, to compensate for the lack of official accommodation in the Townhouse. (250r)

The Council fixed 28 April 1821 (sic) for a meeting to elect their Commissioner to the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland to be held on 17 May 1821. (250r)
