The Council elected the following thirteen Burgesses to be members of the new Council for the year 1814 to 1815: Mr Gavin Hadden, Mr Robert Garden, Mr Charles Walker, Mr Robert Walker, Mr William Lumsden, Mr Thomas McCombie, Mr George Thomson, Mr Robert Gibb, Mr Alexander Fraser, Mr David Chalmers, Mr Alexander Simpson, Mr James Brebner and Mr William Catto, all merchants in Aberdeen. The Council elected the following four members of the old Council to be members of the new Council: Provost James Hadden, Baillie Alexander Galen, Baillie John Donald and Mr George Storey. (39v)

The Council elected Deacon William Fife, tailor, and Deacon William Livie, shoemaker, to be Trades councillors. (39v)

The Council (and David Thom, James Bowman, Patrick Barron, George Gray and William Mortimer, Burgesses of Guild, as Assistants) elected the following office bearers for the year 1814 to 1815:

Alexander Galen - Second Baillie
John Donald - Third Baillie
Charles Walker - Youngest Baillie
George Thomson - Dean of Guild
Alexander Simpson - Treasurer
James Brebner - Master of Shoreworks

Robert Gibb - Master of Mortifications
William Catto - Master of Guild Brethren's Hospital

The Council elected Provost James Hadden, Baillie Alexander Galen and Baillie John Donald to be Keepers of the Keys of the Town's Charter Chest for the year 1814 to 1815. (40v)

The Council elected the Provost and the four Baillies, the Dean of Guild, Mr George Storey, Mr Alexander Fraser, Mr Gavin Hadden and Mr William Lumsden as Commissioners of Infeftments for the year 1814 to 1815; and the two Trades councillors as Auditors of the Town's Accounts. (40r)
