The Council approved the purchase by Alexander Buchan, blacksmith, of a feu of a piece of ground on the north-west side of a new road to be made in a north-easterly direction from the Pocra or Footdee Road, in line with the house lately erected by William Stephen, shipbuilder, and extending backward to the property possessed by David Izzet, for an annual feu duty of 3 shillings 6 pence per foot of frontage. (46r)

The Council approved the purchase by Captain William Raitt of the Royal Navy, residing in Aberdeen, of a feu of a piece of ground forming part of the Glebe of Footdee, situated near the canal side adjacent to the ground feued to John Younghusband, boat builder, bounded on the west by the road leading along Pow Creek in front of the canal to the harbour, and bounded on the east by the road commonly called the Summer Road, for £10 yearly feu duty. (46r - 46v)

The Council authorised the Treasurer to borrow from the representatives of the late Captain Robert Duncan, the sum of £666 (being the balance of Mr Duncan's estate, including a bill for £650 granted by the Treasurer in accordance with the Act of Council of 17 February 1814 for the purchase of the tenement of land behind the Town House, adjoining the printing office lately possessed by Mr Chalmers), and to grant a bond for the sum, with legal interest payable to Jean Milne, widow of the deceased Robert Duncan, sometime maltster in Aberdeen, in liferent, and to William Black, late of Cloghill, now brewer at Devanha, general disponee of Captain Robert Duncan, after her death, in fee. The Council authorised the Treasurer to borrow such sums of money necessary for the public purposes of the community, and to grant bonds to the lenders. (47r)
