The Council appointed their Commissioners for the next two years charged with building and maintaining a House of Correction in Aberdeen, under the Act of Parliament 42 GEO. III: Baillie Robert Garden, Mr James Hadden, Mr Alexander Galen and Mr George Storey, all merchants and Burgesses of Guild. (61v)
