(225v - 226v) The Council authorised Andrew Duncan, the Treasurer, to receive from Mr William Mackie, the Master of Shoreworks, a renewed bill or promissory note for the principal sum due by the Harbour Trustees and to endorse and deposit the same with the cashier of the Aberdeen Banking Company in lieu of the former bill. (226v) The Council authorised the Treasurer to borrow such sums of money as may be required at the ensuing term for paying off any of the Town's creditors. (227r) |
