Baillie Milne presented to the Council the draft of an agreement respecting the Town's reserved right to the quarries opened on certain lands belonging to Sir William Johnston, drawn up after considerable correspondence between the Town's Agent and Mr Robert Burnett, WS, Trust Disponee on the Estate of Hilton, to be entered into between the Treasurer of Aberdeen and the said Mr Burnett. All which being considered the Council approved of the Committee's proceedings and authorised the Treasurer to sign the agreement. (227r - 227v)
The Council delayed until 9 January 1828 the further consideration of the agreement between the Council and various parties relating to the proposal to divide the Town into different parishes and to erect a new church. (227v - 228r)
