The Council presented Robert More, son of the late George More, blacksmith at Grandholm, to John Johnstone's Divinity bursary of £10 for the period of four years when the same shall be vacated by Mr James Fowler following the recommendation of the Rev Mr Robert Brown, Professor of Greek in Marischal College, Dr Brown, Principal and Professor of Divinity, along with others of the Professors at the said College.
