Letter of complaint noting that although the applicant had served as a Pupil Teacher with the Board and had applied for several positions over a period of ten years, she had not been offered employment and had to accept posts elsewhere. Because the Aberdeen Board did not recognise service under other boards she finds that her salary of £60 is less than it would have been if she had worked in Aberdeen. She is prepared to accept a salary of £70 per year as a reasonable concession. Enclosures are testimonials from other employers.

Subsequent letter dated 25th June thanking Mr Hector for the kind reply which has come as a very agreeable surprise.

He also mentions that the children are of very great service at flitting and had assisted with the school flitting, shortening the process by half a day.
