Description"Charter by Robert II granting to his faithful Burgesses and Community of his Burgh of Aberdyn, the whole land of the tenement of Rubbyslaw with the pertinents lying next his said Burgh formerly pertaining in freehold, and resigned in the King's hands by Andrew de Inchethur; to be held by the saids Burgesses and Community and their Successors "in feodo hereditate, in libero burgage" as freely, quietly, fully, completely, and honourably, in and by all, as the saids Burgesses hold the said burgh of Abyrden itself, they making one appearance yearly in the Chamberlain's Court, to be held at Abyrden, and rendering to the Chamberlain's Office one penny of Silver yearly, at Whitsunday, in name of every demand exigible from the saids Lands. Said Charter is dated, at Kyndrocht in Marr, 20th August 1379)
