Description"Precept of Sasine by the Provost, Baillies, Council and Community of the Burgh for infefting Patrick Jack, a Citizen and Merchant enjoying the privileges of the Burgh, in a third part of the place and habitation of the Minor Friars of Aberdeen, lying on the Eastside of the Gallowgate, excepting only the Church and the small nether house, which is entered by the small South Gate of the East side of the said Church, beneath the Choir, commonly called the "Sowal" house, then bounded by 4 Walls, also the greater front gate, and also a passage of 15 feet from the buttresses of the said Church, which gives entrance to it by the lesser South Entrance.
