Description	Memorial to the magistrates of Aberdeen detailing the debt belonging to the Burgh and the imposition of a liquor duty of 4 pence Scots on the pint as well as other duties relating to spirits and wines, and the necessity of maintaining this impost in light of the expense occurred in bringing in fresh water in 1708 and subsequent repairs to municipal buildings.
