| Description | Raising money for the new Deaf Community Centre, to be sited at the former All Saints Episcopal Church on Smithfield Road. The church to be renamed as St John's Church for the Deaf. Opened by HRH Duke of Edinburgh in March 1976. Includes newspaper cuttings, newsletter and publication on fundraising events, as well as proramme for the opening ceremony on 20 March 1976 and letters of thanks for invitation and attendance at events. |
