DescriptionBegins: "Mr Garden Campbell having about this period found his Affairs in a very unpleasant situation & considerably embarrassed, arising in a great measure from his cautionary obligation and heavy advances on account of General Hay of Rannes, he resolved in a Restriction of his Expenses and Establishment.
After various communing with his friends on the subject Mr Garden was of opinion that his intention could be best carried into effect by the appointment of Trustees".
