DescriptionLetter to Alexander Macdonald of Kepplestone from Hugh Cameron, Lednock Bank, Comrie, by Crieff, Perthshire, pleased that his health has improved in the country, but risking it by painting outside in the rain and cold, going home soon, several painting in progress but not as much achieved as he had hoped, intends to go to the country much sooner next year, he has a good model for a small picture of a girl washing dishes of which Macdonald has probably seen the design, sketch of small harvest subject, no progress for some time on Mr. Milne's picture, sorry for the delay, remarks on 'your' exhibition, return of Whites who have been to Vienna, Chalmers is to stay with them and may visit Macdonald, he will work on Mrs. Macdonald's portrait again in Edinburgh, small sketch of a picture he is doing of Glen Artney, description of another painting of a woman and child on a road, 28 October 1873
