White, Ghent, regarding Mollinger's death, leaving his parents and sisters, meeting with his friend Roeloss, who is to finish Mollinger's paintings, description of one of them, a Dutch pastoral scene, regrets that he was never really strong enough to paint out of doors, visit to Clays, picture of his which Macdonald would have liked, but it was sold, with description, Mollinger used to say that Clays was 'very like Punch', he is well acquainted with the east coast of Scotland 'from Berwick to Sumburgh Head', plans to move on to Amsterdam.
