DescriptionPrinted notice sent on behalf of John Smith and William Yeats as President and Treasurer of the Society of Advocates calling a special meeting of the Society of Advocates to charge Alexander Simpson Junior, a prisoner in the jail at Edinburgh, with flagrant misdemeanour and breach of duty. Note intimates that Alexander Simpson Junior has been found guilty by his own admission of Breach of Trust and Embezzlement by the High Court of Justiciary. Note printed 27th March 1882, announcing a meeting on 10th April.
