Description	Duplies for Alexander Leith of Freefield for himself and as one of the interdictors of Alexander Leslie of Wartle and Alexander Stuart, Loanhead to the replies for James and George Leslie on the taking down and rebuilding of the present church of Rayne. The documents give details of the rebuilding and the alterations to the line of the church walls to enlarge the church, and are referred to in relation to a dispute over the belief that the coffins of a Mr Leslie and his daughter were disturbed during the building of the new wall foundations.
