| Description | The Guidman was Robert Niven, Bruckhills, 1834 - 1921 and the Guidwife, his wife, Margaret Gilchrist or Niven, 1837 - 1915. The first picture in the album is of the Warrack family. All photographs are named and include Cruickshanks, Nivens, Davidsons, Alexanders, Gilchrists and many others.
The album has been annotated by Adam Stephen Niven, their son, and his daughter, Mary Margaret Niven.
