Administrative History | The school opened in 2017 in the community wing of Airyhall Primary School. With an increasing roll, Countesswells outgrew the community wing and following refurbishment of Hazlewood School, moved into temporary accommodation there in August 2019. A new building will be completed in 2023.
The school serves the newly zoned Countesswells area, which is part of a new community, projected to accommodate 7,000 people.
An earlier school with the same name was run by Aberdeen County Council (see ED/AC5/171). This was located a Gairn Hill. |
