| Administrative History | The original school opened as Ruthrieston School but on 13 Aug 1895 Aberdeen School Board opened Broomhill Infants and Senior School and transferred the pupils to the new school. The first log book (GR6S/A11/1/1) began as the Ruthrieston Log Book (1883 - 1895) and was continued as Broomhill (1895 - 1910)
