The Very Reverend William Guild, D.D., Principal of the University and King's College, Founder of the Trades' Hospital, and Patron of the Seven Incorporated Trades of the City of Aberdeen' with a shield (chevron between three roses) with, in place of a motto, 'Born at Aberdeen, 1586, and died there in 1657'.
