| Administrative History | The nursery was opened in 1932 in St Peter's Hall at 139 Spital as an extension of the work of St Martha's Children's Home. It was run by St Peter's Nursery School Committee until it was taken over by Aberdeen Town Council Education Committee on 1 February 1937. It was transferred to the Grampian Regional Council Education Committee in 1975.
A proposal to close the nursery in the summer of 1983 was defeated at the Council Meeting of 28 April 1983. |
